In 2010, Northern California native Aimi Duong trekked through Bangkok in search of her Thai roots. She returned on a new mission. Oimei's "Pillows for Peace" concept extends throughout southeast Asia, empowering marginalized craftspeople in developing communities with consistent wages and stabalized sources of family income.
